Eri Minami's Persona: Shirayamahime

Someone mediating on behalf of two opposed parties feels like something that belongs to Eri, doesn’t it?  But beyond that, I didn’t really pull much imagery from the myth itself.

I wanted Eri’s Persona to be a navigation Persona like I had done with Shu’s, mostly because Eri just flat out didn’t strike me as someone who would willingly fight (but apparently I think Hisano can fight?  I’m just weird I guess).  So the TV head from Eri’s Shadow was a good starting point—that seems kind of navigation-esque, allowing Eri to watch the action unfolding, or something.

The cage like hair was another idea I had early on, but it took me a while to design something that wasn’t a super pain in the ass to draw.  But it still kind of was, so I dunno.  I had messed with the idea of giving her an antenna to pull in information from, but I felt that was too similar to my Omoikane design, so I thought up having her hair as a kind of “cable” connection to the ground.
