Notes:
Despite being one of the most well known dinosaurs among even the general public and having at least eighty specimens attributed to the genus, the type specimen of Stegosaurus armatus (and hence the type specimen of the entire genus) has never been completely prepared.

that's right! ARMATUS! Armatus is for me the only real Stegosaurus. I don't know but "Stenops" sounds as if someone's laughing about me. It makes me nervous. Also, in my dinosaur book I had in the early 90s, it was the Armatus one in the picture.

Nice to see this specie! I was tired to see all time S. stenops. Also grat colour scheme!
