Tenontosaurus is known from around fifty fossil sites, and of these, approximately twenty percent contain the remains of the predator Deinonychus, showing that, at the very least, the small dromaeosaurid fed on Tenontosaurus. Whether Deinonychus hunted and killed the much larger ornithopod by using pack coordination like is so often depicted is an other matter.
