specimen 076LAMBEOSAURUS LAMBEI
"Lawrence Lambe's Lawrence Lambe's Lizard"
Length: 9.4m (31ft)
Weight: 1.9 tonnes (2.1 tons)
Location: Alberta, Canada
Era: Campanian age, upper Cretaceous (76 million years ago)
is sometimes described in less technical literature as one of the largest Hadrosaurs (indeed, perhaps the largest non-Sauropod dinosaur), but this isn't really true--for a while, there was another species of duckbill that was considered a putative species of Lambeosaurus
that magnificently large, but it was clearly a different animal and has since been reclassified to its own genus, Magnapaulia
UPDATE FEB 26, 2013:
As it was discovered after I had done this that Hadrosaurids could not pronate their hands, I went back and adjusted the Lambeosaurus to show this. Go here ([link]
