"Many-Toothed Pelican Mimic"
Perez-Moreno et al., 1994
Length: 2.5m (8ft)
Weight: 68kg (150 lbs.)
Location: Cuenca, Spain
Era: Barremian age, lower Cretaceous (129 million years ago)
Unusual for an Ornithomimosaur, which are typically toothless, Pelecanimimus has numerous tiny teeth running the length of its jaws. In fact, it has more teeth than any other known species of Theropod, with around 220.
UPDATE JAN 22 2013:
As it was discovered that Ornithomimosaurs actually have wings after I drew this, I decided to go back and update it with wings. Not really any other changes on this one, still fairly satisfied with the rest of it.
